I was scouted by an agent for Litz Models on Pedder Street, Hong Kong in 1984 when I was 12 years old. I was 174 cm at the time and probably stood out. The jobs were interesting and I continued on and off for several years - a combination of fittings, editorial, catwalks, events and film extra work. I credit the modelling opportunities given to me as helping cultivate my interest in art and design - alongside my maternal grandmother who was a dress maker and my father's step mother who was a painter. The images above are from 2017 when I was invited through a MAC makeup promotion to have a photoshoot at Southbank Studios in London, England. Litz is no longer in business but I maintain active connections in Hong Kong and two of the images below are from 2004 when I was commissioned for a series of location shots in Beijing, China while the other two are photographs modelling clothes given to me by independent fashion designers in 2008, Hong Kong.
